We started the company in the fall of 2006, launched in 2007, and have been offering our services to all kinds of mission critical websites since then. The development community and web developers, who tend to be our customers, like that flexibility, and the quick time to market. We've grown really fast.

At that time, monetizing by advertising didn't exist, and web developers were having to hand roll those experiences. We successfully built up that firm, and in late 2006 we sold it to Tandberg Television. When we had been at Zetools, we had been thinking about consumer plays.

I made a simple web interface and at the end of 2006 I found it really useful so I decided to buy IconFinder.com for a public site. Frustrated of the performance of searching with the OS search, I decided to build a database and have the icons indexed, so the searching would be easier and faster.
