AngelHack, the self-proclaimed leader in hackathon competitions, completed its Fall 2012 season this past weekend with contests held simultaneously in five cities: Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco, Toronto and Paris. The three finalists qualify for AngelHack's Global Demo Day to be held on January 24th, 2013 in Silicon Valley.

Gyft’s team sent a very brief email asking politely to set up a time to demo their product. Lit Motors is a San Francisco, CA based company that designs and develops environmentally-conscious transportation solutions. It doesn’t tip over (they tried in the demo to prove it). That a wrap, folks.

When: July 26, 2012 6-11pm. Each venue will host a group of developers, designers, entrepreneurs and other startups in their office for 45 minutes or so then feel free to move on to the next stop. Space may be purchased using the “Demo Table” ticket. Where: Santa Monica, CA (Silicon Beach!). No worries!

On July 27, 2012 the AT&T Developer Program and Apigee produced the Mobile App Hackathon in Los Angeles, California. Spearheaded by Alex Donn , the event was designed for both technical and non-technical attendees to build apps over the course of a weekend at Io/La , an incubator/co-work space in the heart of Hollywood.
