I first met Andrew Stalbow , the founder & CEO of Seriously in August of 2013. On August 23rd, 2013 I had an email intro from my good friend and trusted source Jeff Berman who only sends me stuff when it is somebody he respects (ie a strong filter vs. those who send casual intros). He hit me from two very trusted sources.

It got quite good reviews in the media: TechCrunch , LifeHacker & PandoDaily and many others. We spent a year (2012-2013) building a merchant acquisition machine and all of the systems to support bookings, calendar integrations, location services, etc. And today it was listed in the Best Apps of the Week by Apple.

It’s becoming harder to distinguish tech companies from media companies. Many “tech companies” now have green screens. Our lease runs out in 2013. I see it first hand in Los Angeles where given the growth of YouTube networks the worlds of art & technology are colliding. And make-up artists. And writers!

Radical transparency is the goal and on May 14 th , 2013 the filmmakers will post the entire feature-length film online in HD ( for free ), in addition to releasing it on DVD/Blu-ray, on TV, and in theaters simultaneously. There will be a smattering of special screenings worldwide. They want it all hacked and mashed up.
