XPRIZE Awards $8M In Avatar Competition

XPRIZE, the Los Angeles-based organization which organizes prize-based competitions to advance technology in the areas of "humanity's greatest challenges", said it has named a winner of its four-year ANA Avatar XPRIZE. XPRIZE said a total of 99 teams registered for the competition in 2018.
