Approximately $9,000 was raised for charity by Los Angeles and Orange County tweeps last night at The Roxy Theater as part of a global event known as Twestival , said Paula Gould, a PR rep for the event. About 6,000+ attendees this year, however, even with the smaller number of attendees this years donations was 25 percent above last year.
