Los Angeles-based venture capital investor Upfront Ventures is the lead investor in a new, $15M Series B funding round for artificial intelligence software developer Tact. Tact develops artificial intelligence software for Salesforce which helps salespeople automate data entry into their CRM systems.

Los Angeles-based venture capital investor Upfront Ventures has joined in a new round for one of its portfolio firms, Tact.ai , which announced a $27M Series C funding this morning. Upfront Ventures led the last round, a Series B, in Tact.ai, and Mark Suster, a Partner at Upfront Ventures, sits on Tact.ai's board of directors.

Gigster said today that it raised $20M in a Series B funding, which was Redpoint Ventures, and also included Andreessen Horowitz, Y Combinator, Ashton Kutcher and Guy Oseary's Sound Ventures, Marc Benioff and Adam D'Angelo, along with Michael Jordan.
