In his blog he says, “I responded that I thought it was stupid. I kind of think LA is just LA and doesn’t need some clever marketing term. If I were to think about branding our great city I don’t think I would chose the Silicon Beach moniker myself. My views are pretty well known. I hate Silicon Whatever.
