I've been remiss in posting to this blog. But, what's interesting is that the old SoCal events hosted by folks like the TechnologyCouncil seem to be struggling for attendees, while you get 250 to a networking only event during the middle of the day. For me, these are folks who are actively involved in wide variety of technology-enabled businesses. Having produced a variety of events over the years and having been on the boards of both the TechnologyCouncil and AITP, I can say that its really hard to attract a critical mass of interesting people. in Computer Science.
