Calabasas-based Ixia said late Monday afternoon that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Catapult Communications, a developer of 3G and 4G wireless networking test products. The deal is worth $63M after accounting for Catapult's cash and investments. According to Ixia, it will pay $9.25
To do that, we spoke with Vic Alston , the CEO of Calabasas-based Ixia (www.ixiacom.com), a publicly traded maker of network testing equipment and software. The other thing we do is continue to invest in products and build really new, innovative technology in the markets we already serve. We always like to buy companies like Anue.
