DTS' Parent Firm, Xperi, Merges With TiVo

Xperi , the parent company of Calabasas-based audio technology developer DTS , has merged with set-top box technology developer Tivo , the two announced this morning. Xperi and Tivo said that they have agreed to combine in an all-stock transaction, with an enterprise value of approximately $3 billion.
