This Spotlight takes place Thursday, July 14, at The California Institute of Technology (CalTech). CODA Automotive is a privately held company headquartered in Santa Monica, California that designs, manufactures and sells electric vehicles and lithium-ion battery systems purpose-built for transportation and utility applications.

We have some great mentors now. Thanks to TechStars, we've got an awesome mentor who's co-habitating with us now, and we're learning something daily from him. We're trying to build a center-of-mass on the East side, to draw talented developers and designers, to recruit more effectively, and reinvest in the local ecosystem.
Both graduates of one of the most premier science institutions in the United States: Caltech. LA is the largest metropolitan area in the US for people employed in art, design and media and the local creative economy of LA generates more than $140 billion in economic output – more than the GDP of many countries.
Myself, I am now working with a medical ultrasound technology firm, working directly with the researcher and a design firm. Caltech is a bit easier, but there are quite a number of touchpoints overall who we've had to keep in contact with, remind them who we are, and that we're waiting to hear from them about potential projects.
