I sat on two panels in the past week – once at LeadsCon (** see appendix if you’re interested in a back story here) and today at the America’s Growth Capital conference. Things to know: mix of entrepreneurs, big tech company execs, service providers, media people, VCs, etc. So it’s fresh on my mind.
Every year, at the end of the year, we share some reflections on the past year from our readers, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, sponsors, and others in the local technology community. As the Preccelerator has grown, we have continually seen stronger and stronger early stage ventures, led by better and better entrepreneurs.
Female entrepreneurs should especially love this as, Fund 21’s Jenny Q Ta will be listening to pitches to find final contenders for either a Skype or physical visit to Jakarta to pitch for a Series A round. Each startup will be able to choose up to three mentors to meet with for 7-minute sessions each.
Each semester, we admit an incoming class with some of USC’s most ambitious, talented, and diverse entrepreneurs to allow them to form teams and build products through the course of our program. We’ve also hosted Jonathan Badeen from Tinder and WIll Hsu from Mucker Capital. Student entrepreneurs are the future.
