A Colorado-based developer of electric vehicles is planning to set up shop in Chatsworth, according to Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa Monday. Boulder Electric Vehicle is hoping to eventually produce 1,000 of its trucks per year in the location, in Chatsworth's State Enterprise Zone, according to the Mayor's office.

Soliant Gets Install Win In Chatsworth

Monrovia-based Soliant , the developer of concentrating photovoltaic solar panels, reported an install in Chatsworth today, saying it has installed its systems on the roof of MBK Tape Solutions, a firm which fabricates adhesive tape and flexible materials. Soliant said the system generates 10kW of grid-connected electricity.
