Beverlly Hills-based private equity investor Platinum Equity , and Van Nuys-based Electro Rent said Tuesday that the two are in a definitive agreement, where Platinum Equity will pay approximately $323.4M Platinum Equity said ti will pay $13.12 percent over the company's closing price on May 27th.

Van Nuys-based Jet Edge International , a provider of aircraft management and private jet charter services, said this week that it has raised $60M in a equity and debt funding round. The funding was led by Los Angeles-based private equity investor Solace Capital Partners.

Van Nuys-based Electro Rent , which provides rental and leasing of test and measurement equipment, said Friday that it has completed its acquisition of Microlease from Lloyds Development Capital. Electro Rent is owned by private equity investor Platinum Equity, which bought the company in August of last year.
