I’m comfortable with introductions and then getting into the demo.&#. I believe in this so much that, despite my post advising you to be prepared for the *norm* in VC, I wrote a post about a company that came in for a presentation and never even got the slides out or presented a demo. Just jump into the demo after intros.

TowerFall brought in the biggest crowd at IndieCade because of the competitive nature it brings out of gamers. There were a couple of games to demo, but the most sought out demo was the horror game, “ Dreadhalls “ Watching people jump or even scream from playing the game shows what the Oculus Rift was capable of.

All of the LA Hacks sponsors were displayed around the outer ring of the stadium and the students were greeted by a large glowing LA Hacks logo on the big screens. The demos were high energy and exciting, as several hundred students flooded the floor visiting over 200 submitted projects, which were set up in rows.

The game demo was simple and sweet. The demo level had plenty of secret pipes and entrances for gamers to explore and more hidden items to search throughout the levels.
