Long Beach-based Bikestations , an angel-backed startup developing modules used for storing bicycles at train stations, bus stations, and elsewhere, said today that it has contracted for install of a center, at the Covina Metrolink station. The firm received funding from the TCA in April. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed.

Covina-based StemCyte , a venture-backed operator of an umbilical cord blood bank, has scored $1M in a debt funding round, according to debt financing firm Agility Capital. The firm has previously received venture funding from Sycamore Venture Capital, Asia Star IT Fund and National Technology Enterprise Co. Harper Group.
