You fill out the short questionnaire, lawyers submit their price quotes, and they get hired. We''ve worked out he bugs, and since then have hired a full time CTO and others. We also have a couple of grad school interns from LMU, UCLA, and elsewhere. There are over 100 different questionnaires on the website.

The firm was bootstrapped several years ago, and is profitable, and its founders are both MBAs from UCLA Anderson, where they met. Ramit Varma: Jake (Neuberg), my business partner, met at UCLA's Anderson business school. It might not be problems in geometry, it might be because students can't add fractions in algebra.

I founded that with the former CTO of my first company, Kevin Smilak, who now works at Google. We were hired by a company that did outsourced medical billing and consulting for physicial medicine and rehab doctors. We went to college together at UCLA, and he was one of the early guys at Scour.
