The chief executive of Gardena-based electric vehicle developer Faraday and Future Inc. has vacated his post, according to a statement the company made September 3.

Gardena-based toy maker Educational Insights said this morning that it has launched a new product, a "coding robot" which is designed to help kids learn how to write their own software. According to the company, its new robot, Artie Max, helps kids learn five coding languages (Blockly, Snap!, The new robot has a MSRP of $109.99.

Cover Technologies Finds $1.6M For Algorithm Designed Buildings

Gardena, California-based Cover , which develops technology which uses algorithms and software to build custom, prefab buildings, including backyard studios, has raised $1.6M in a seed funding round. The funding was led by General Catalyst and Khosla Ventures, and also included Fifty Years, Hyperspeed Ventures, and angels.
EntComm Sells Division

Gardena-based EntComm , a developer of software-as-a-service products, has sold its product division to a Indian software firm, TAKE Solutions. Financial terms of the sale were not disclosed. TAKE is also buying EntComm's offshore operations, which will merge with Take Solutions' center in Chennai.
