Los Angeles-based Snap said on Tuesday that it is launching a new, augmented reality advertising studio, which it is calling Arcadia. The new studio--which is not based in Arcadia, California, despite the name--will provide a team of experts focused on mobile augmented reality (AR) advertising for its brand and agency partners. According to Snap, Arcadia will "take on select projects that require the most creative and technical skillset" to provide branded AR experiences.

Irvine-based ATTOM, the unit of RealtyTrac which tracks foreclosure data, says that foreclosure filings for the U.S. have increased 68 percent from a year ago, and are up 34 percent from the previous quarter. The uptick in foreclosure starts come as a result of the retreat of foreclosure moratorium and mortgage forbearance programs. According to ATTOM, there were total of 45,517 U.S. properties with foreclosure filings - default notices, scheduled auctions or bank repossessions in Q3.
