In just the last few weeks, at least five different incubation/acceleration efforts have booted up in the region. Specifically targeted at clean techonlogy firms, the group has more of a traditional incubator program, offering up office space for 6-8 companies, along with support, resources, and mentorship.

Those three organizations have very strong networks inventure capital, entertainment, and academia, and put together the incubator. An example of that is the UCLA flood. So, he launched Watsup, and the first thing it showed was a highlight of the UCLA flooding. What drove your interest in this area?

Los Angeles is an amazing place, and we have fashion, e-commerce, advertising, games, media, entertainment companies which I think make Los Angeles a phenomenal place. We've been able to get a bunch of applications already through word of moth, from talks at different classes, and most recently at the UCLA Business School.
