The beauty of platform is fans are signing into Facebook when fans engage with films on our site, and those film makers are collecting valuable data and page profiles on their audience. We're not necessarily the platform to help up-and-comers or amateurs to be successful. Lots of them were in online media and entertainment.

What happens when you apply big data and computer science to digest all of that social data being fed into Twitter and other social platforms--and cross match that to location information? Those three organizations have very strong networks inventure capital, entertainment, and academia, and put together the incubator.

We have universities like CalTech, UCLA, USC and many more. It’s not uncommon for incredibly smart and talented Phd’s or CS majors from Stanford to raise $10 million on an early-stage “platform&# that if it succeeds it will be huge. But LA is not Silicon Valley and we don’t need to aspire to be so.
