Hermosa Beach-based Precipice Labs , a new startup developing mobile apps, has announced a new platform and SDK which helps mobile app developers add photo sharing to any mobile app. The platform handles everything from the photo gallery within the app to all the back-end database and image storage.

How did you start the company? George Collado: I worked in Hermosa Beach, with a restaurant group, and we had opened up several restaurants. Through that, I designed a system using Excel spreadsheets to track this, and went on to start the company because I saw the need for it. Who is your ideal customer?
