Many of us are putting more into the front-end and having the application logic and back-end exposed through JavaScript (JSON) APIs. You may get into the market, but just know that you are going to pay the price when you start to get traction. And I hope you are not running on Cake PHP when you see these numbers.

Forget to get around to setting up that Employee Stock Option Plan and want to be able to give the early guys their options at a low strike price? I know he’s smart but you wouldn’t hire a Javascript developer to do your database design – would you? Shame about that pesky FAS 157 ruling. Here’s a hack for you.

Google is concerned that ISPs may begin to price discriminate between websites, allowing ISPs to charge users at different rates for different web services. Just imagine if ISPs imposed a cost of $.02
