LaMirada-based Crazy Egg , which develops a web analytics and visualization tool for tracking web site visitors clicks, has released version 2.0 of the web site. The firm switched over to its updated software over the weekend, telling its users via Twitter that older, Crazy Egg 1.0 reports will stop tracking data on November 15th.
CrazyEgg, which is based in LaMirada, has quietly built a healthy following providing website analytics tools, centered around creating a visual "heat map" of how visitors are using and visiting web pages. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed.
Irvine-based Microsemi, a manufacturer of analog, mixed signal integrated circuits, said Thursday that it has acquired LaMirada-based Babcock, Inc., a manufacturer of power supplies. According to Microsemi, it paid approximately $20M in cash to acquire all the shares of Babcock's parent firm, Electro Module Inc.
