Twiistup 6 has come to an end. Out is the “cocktail only&# Twiistup and in is the new format of a conference that should take its rightful place on the national technology calendar. Twiistup combines a showcase for innovation, a platform for thought leaders and an audience of entrepreneurs, media and investors all wrapped in a unique, stylized environment that rivals a Hollywood production.
Twiistup , the technology and media networking event being held July 30 and 31st at the Universal Hilton, released its list of companies being featured at the event today, saying that it has picked 11 companies to present at the event. Tags: startup networking media conference twiistup.
Twiistup , the popular Los Angeles technology showcase and networking event started by Mike Macadaan, is announcing today that the event has been sold to a undisclosed, private investor. Twiistup said its next event will be in July. Financial details of the ownership change were not disclosed.

I did a quick search and didn't find many blog posts mentioning that specific event.

Macadaan is well known in the Los Angeles technology community for creating and running Twiistup, the popular Los Angeles technology networking and startup showcase event.
