On the SEO side of things, I'll definitely want to get your feedback on Browse My Stuff. I'm working quite a bit with startups who are leveraging social media, but I'm finding it hard to predict success and metrics. And how can an early stage company think about social media relative to important startup metrics (see [link] )?
My initial conversations normally focus on the core of the business, important Startup Metrics , probably marketing strategy (ex. SEO for Startups and Negative Customer Acquisition Costs ) and, of course, the product itself. I talk to a lot of founders of startups. Normally the product is defined as a web site.

First, let me recommend reading a previous blog, called omg I’m just a startup, I can’t do those fancy metrics. For example, there might be a series of flows in how users come into the site, starting with ads, SEO, or otherwise. Aggregate metrics. Still metrics about traffic are not leads. Engagement.
