Santa Monica-based car shopping site Edmunds.com says that it has set a new, electric vehicle travel record using a 2013 Tesla Model S, driven by two of it staffers. Edmunds.com took advantage of Tesla''s network of "Supercharger" charging stations, using a total of 23 of those stations to charge up.

Redondo Beach-based TravBuddy is reporting that the firm saw over one million unique visitors in July, saying that it is seeing "record growth" despite the slowdown in the travel industry. The firm says over 7,000 of the site's members have met in real life as a result of using the service. READ MORE>>.
