What I mean by this is we do radio better by building it around the web, socialmedia and traditional marketing strategies alongside, behind and wrapped around our radio shows. For one, we built a following by using Facebook and Twitter and other socialnetworking sites. We built unique websites for each show.
I’ve been engaged with socialnetworking for some time now, starting with Myspace and Facebook and just recently (within the last 30 days), Twitter. Through the use of socialnetworking, we have sold out all 150 spots available for this event two weeks before the date and recently added another 50 to accommodate the demand.
When my friend’s small business was struggling a while back, I suggested he add some socialmedia marketing initiatives, and his answer was that he was “too busy.” They don’t know if they should move to socialnetworks for lead generation, branding, customer loyalty, or for direct marketing and e-commerce.
