I have never been more optimistic about the impact that the tech startup community is having on cities in America or about the role that cities outside of San Francisco / Silicon Valley can play in our future. During the last week of October, four hundred people converged at Qualcomm’s headquarters in Sorrento Valley on a Friday evening, to conclude its annual “Startup Week” extravaganza organized by non-profit StartupSanDiego.
We’re only a couple of weeks away from this year’s SanDiegoStartup Week, and we’re excited to have the startup community reunite for the 11th annual event. This year, we’re taking over SanDiego, from Carlsbad all the way down to Tijuana, Mexico.
The StartupSanDiego quarterly tech report featured a conversation between Cheryl Goodman, Vice Chair of StartupSanDiego, and Vishal Shah, GM of XR & Metaverse at Lenovo.
The University of SanDiego has received $1M from the incubator arm of Intellectual Ventures , the investment fund which was founded by recently deceased Microsoft co-founder Paul G.
