Sheu a professor of EECS and Biomedical Engineering at UCI--it has launched the new search site to help people find answers to problems using natural language search and prior user opinions. A project out of the University of California, Irvine-- SemantiG , is hoping to improve Internet search by tapping into the experience of users.

The idea is we do not want to go down the current path of the Web 2.0 How has the spinout experience from UCI been? People there encourage commercializing research, but, that said, UCI in particular and maybe the area around here is not very primed to do tech startups. What's the business model behind this?
